-The End-
(Actually the story is just begin ;P )
Chee Gaik Yap, 25, newly graduated from UUM, from Sg Petani, was raped and murdered last Saturday. This is one of the raped and murdered cases that happened frequently recently in Malaysia.
What have happened to Malaysia? We were once proud with our best infrastructures around the World. However, our mind and culcture here still worse than many other 3rd world countries. Government staffs and officers just know how to earn money and give us bad services (head of MCA always disappear when citizen asking for help) and terrible facilities (cracked MRR2 bridges, hospitals with bacterias, toll plazas…), plays with dirty political tricks too (phantom members of MCA - phantom voters in election). Our Deputy Information Minister Donald Lim Siang Chai even asked media not to report so much criminal news so that it not affect the image of the country. What the FUCK is this little uncle thinking? Hide all the problems in the carpet so that Government can be forgiven on all the bad things happened in Malaysia? I think we should reveal all the news and let whole world know what is happening here, this will pressure the government and police department to make sure we are safe, hiding the problem jus only will make Malaysia a worse place to stay!
Now is the problem of police department. Salary of policemen is low, not many people interested to join police force while existing policemen, most of them, just know how to get involve in corruptions (described as licensed robbers) and lack of capability in fight with crime.
As normal citizen, all we can do is only take care ourselve, help each other and pray hard not be target of those uneducated creatures.
Is it the time to change government? Pls fully utilize your vote in coming election! Afterall we don have many excellent University graduates like Chee Gaik Yap to lose!
Went to Street Roar 2006 last Saturday, one of the biggest Chinese Indie music gigs in Malaysia. Cool musicians from Asia, nice stuffs in flea market, Woodstock-like field with mud, happending crowds too. Went with my gang, and of coz my dear Rachel too. Something stupid happened… I’ve left my car key in my car that was locked, had to ask Ten drove me back to Seri Petaling to take my backup keys, thanks Ten, and sorry to Rachel and Marcus for the missing parts, and sorry to Kit, Fai and Hou coz caused them missed their dinner >_< (I promised i will not careless again~)
Tired day after snaping photos, pogo and moshing…
Here are some photos…
Yesterday my dear finally received her Bsc. Degree from APIIT, although she is brilliant enough in her career without the Degree.
The convo ceremony was held in Grand Ballroom of Renaissance hotel KL, quite lots of graduates and guests at there (at least 1000 i guess). Met some old mates, had an expensive lunch, and a messy buffet there as well :p However the ceremony was completed greatly (although a bit boring)
Congratulations my dear, might this achievement will bring you few steps forward in your career
Sad but true… Sad to those good policemen (if there is any), sad to be Malaysian, sad on the government, sad… sad… sad…

Yesterday when I went to meet my dear in Ampang, I was turned in from MRR2 into the main road heading to Dagang, suddenly a motor jus turned out from the right junction and cross in front of me, i was able to break my my car and gave the motor a long horn. However the motorist lost his balance due to panic and fall down. I stopped my car aside and saw the passenger of the motor took his helmet and seems like want to hit my car with his helmet but he didn’t do that. Those were 2 drunken Indian men, old father and son. There was a kancil stopped behind of me and then 3 Indian men get down from the car. They approached and asked about the situation. The 2 motorists were still yelling around and asked RM50 from me for compensation.
I was explained to those Indian guys, I was came straight and the motor just drove out fast from the right junction without stopped and observed both sides, not possible for me to pay him compensation. Those guys also agree with me, and told the motorists it’s their fault. The motorists saw I am not paying the compensation and yelled to make police report, those Indian guys also adviced me to make police report. So after picking up my dear, we just went to Ampang traffic police station to make police report.
When I reached there, the drunken motorists already told the police their own version of story at the police station gate. Then the policeman asked me into office and asked about my story. I’ve just told them the real story, and the policeman said that the motorists claimed that I hit them. So I brought the policeman and showed him my car which has no scratch at all. The policemen knew that it was the Indian motorists’ fault too, and created false story, and asked them to leave the police station, else will charge them for drunken driving. However the old Indian still insist to make police report at second day and then left the police station.
I was glad that Rachel recommended me to make police report, if not the policemen might believe to the drunken old man and send me a summon. And Rachel told me that one of her friends also met this kind of situation, her friend paid for the compensation, but still receiving a summon and called to court. Because the motorist accepted the compensation but still went to make police report and charged her friend to the court.
So beware my friends, if you think you are right, just go and make a police report, waste little time on making police report better than waste more time in the court.
Waited for years, yesterday finally accomplished my wish - getting a tattoo… And the great thing is… I did it with my love one, Rachel…
Location was Borneo Ink in Desa Hartamas, by the tattoo artist Eddie. I was quite nervous and anxious, luckly Rachel was with me comfort me and calm me down. The tattoo design I found on Google image search, and requested Eddie to simplify it. Eddie is indeed good and able to scatch out a good design to fit on my right arm. So after some professional preparation and explainantion (important!), Eddie started to scatch the design on my arm, after I confirmed ok, he started the tattoo process by drawing the outline.
It was quite pain (imagine a needle sting on your skin thousand times per second), especially spots on the bone area (I should be get fat before getting tattoo). Luckly Rachel’s grip was greatly reduced the pain. It was cold too because it was raining and the aircond kept on blowing cold wind, I was once worry will sneeze and destroy the tattoo…
Anyway the pain was too deep, and I’ve requested for a break after an hour and had a cigarette to relief the pain and tension. After that the tattoo was continue and finished in around 45 minutes time, including applying ointment and protection.
Next was my dear Rachel’s turn. She wanted to extend her Candy Lo’s tattoo to a totally different desgin and make it darker. Briliant Eddie just sketched on her arm and then a cooler design was came out in minutes. After confirmed by Rachel, Eddie started his second round of tattoo. Rachel’s extension took shorter time, but her pain was great too. (She told me that previous tattoo wasn’t as pain as this time).
After ointment and protection, Eddie has given us lot’s of advice on maitain the tattoos. My tattoo cost me RM450 and Rachel’s extension just RM150.
Here are some tips on tattoo:
- Make sure the tattoo artist is qualified and certified.
- Make sure the equipment is new and unused, old equipment should be sterilized.
- Follow and obey the instructions of tattoo artist.
- Keep breathing, relax and don’t fight the pain with your muscle.
- Call for break if feel dizzy and can’t stand the pain, cold water is good to calm down.
- Bring your loved one, their encouragement and grip are the best pain killer. Thanks to my dear Rachel accompany me in that hard time, extremly pain on my arm but wonderfully sweet in my heart…
Just went to Singapore to watch Beyond live in concert last weekend. Some said this will be the last concert since the concert in Malaysia is not confirmed yet. Beside watching Beyond, this can be considered as a short trip to Singapore.
I’ve arrived at the Pudu Raya with Ten, met Siew Ting and her friend Danny at morning. However Rachel was late, so Ten went to Singapore with Siew Ting and Danny first, and I left to wait Rachel. After having the breakfast with Rachel, we started our journey to Singapore. Bad thing happened: the bus left us at Singapore check point, so we have to take bus to Kranchi MRT station and then continue our journey our hotel in China Town.
After short break in Keng Saik hotel, we went to Kallang KFC for Beyond fans gathering. It was a great gathering with fans from Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan.
Next is the main show, the concert. We walked from KFC to Singapore Indoor Stadium while some of fans singing Beyond songs. I was so afraid that my camera will be blocked by guard, but the guard was kind enough to let me bring in the camera with the advice ‘don use with flash’. Appreciated
The concert was awesome, it just like a big party, everybody stood since the concert started until end. All of us were so high, jumped, screamed, shouted and danced all the while. However seems like there were something happened among the band members, very less communication among them, and less interaction with fans too. The concert ended without encore just like what they did to other concerts in other places too.
After the concert we just back to hotel and rest. After all we’ve been travelling and walking all day.
The next day was the exploration around Singapore. We’ve planned to have our breakfast at China Town with local Chinese food. But the whole China Town was so quiet and not many shops opened for business. So we changed to Orchard road for our breakfast, and ended up we had our breakfast at a bench along Orchard with the food bought from 7-Eleven.
After filling up our stomach, it’s shopping time. The first and only shop we visited was HMV, the big music store (4 floors) at Orchard Road. Bought some CDs from there.
Merlion was our next stop, we went there for photography session, and helped others to take photos too
The sky was getting darker, we walked to Raffles MRT station before it rains. However it didn’t, so we had our short rest at a little green field behind of the Raffles MRT station before heading to Lavendar station to get our bus at Golden Mile.
It’s another adventure to look for Golden Mile from Lavendar station. We had asked few people, passed by some shops under apartments, and finally came to the food court opposite Golden Mile where we had our last meal in Singapore.
The bus was quite old, but it’s still consider comfortable. The bus first reached Pasar Rakyat, where nobody gets down from bus (another failure project by our stupid government, built a bus terminal in a jungle with no other public transport), then only arrived Pudu Raya. We had our dinner at Petaling Street KL where it’s our last event in this trip.
Overall it’s a tiring but happy trip, although there some unhappy incidents happened but luckly we still can overcame them.

October of every year, we celebrate birthday for a lovely and long lasting couple Melvin (10th Oct) and Esther (8th Oct). This year we celebrated at Neway Cheras Karaoke with bunch of old friends. Nice gathering, happy and crazy moments. Just one black spot of the night, the system cut-off our last song, this is quite a happy-mood killer, they should implement a system like Redbox, let the customers finish the last song even though the time is up, at least we won’t feel like unrespected and want us to go home immediately.
